Hi Everyone,
I hope this email finds you and your family well. This week Emily Whittmore, our RSSP Consultant visited the school and was very complimentary of the staff for their commitment to the students. Kristi and Emily spent time in the communities and meeting with staff to discuss continued strategies. These strategies, goals, and input are important to providing the best learning environment for our students.Â
We are gearing up for the eclipse on April 8th and school will be in session at regular time. It will be a fun day filled with learning about the solar eclipse and its impact on our world. You should have received an opt-in permission slip that must be signed by the parents that will allow their students to observe the eclipse. If you have not received one, please stop by the front desk where they are available. We have certified eye protection, volunteers to assist with the viewing, and additional support for guides, and assistants.
We will be closed on March 29th and April 1st. Please take time this long weekend to enjoy it with your family. This is a well-earned break for each student so we can finish strong these last days of this school year. We appreciate everything you do to support Goodwater.

Total Solar Eclipse Day
Start: 12:15 pm, Maximum: 1:37 pm, End: 2:59 pm
We are excited to announce that Goodwater is gearing up for the upcoming eclipse on April 8th! To ensure the safety and enjoyment of our students during this rare celestial event, we have purchased eclipse glasses for all students from Pre-K 4 through 8th grade. For your child to participate in this unique experience, we require that you sign the enclosed OPT-IN form for *each child. This form serves as your consent for your child. Please note that we must receive the signed OPT-IN form for each child by April 5th.Â
