Bruce Tabor, Ed.D.

Dr. Bruce Tabor came to his career in public education after serving in the US Marine Corps and enjoying a successful career in business. Prior to accepting the leadership role as Superintendent/CEO of Goodwater Montessori School in May of 2019, Dr. Bruce served as the Superintendent of Ezzell ISD and Wortham ISD. He also held the position of Vice President of Operations, Technology, and Advancement at Navarro College in Corsicana, TX.

Dr. Bruce received his undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis, his MBA from St. Edwards University, his Master of Education from Texas State University, and his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. During his career, Dr. Bruce taught Montessori Lower Elementary, served as 5^th Grade self-contained classroom teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Other districts where he has worked include Burnet CISD, Lexington ISD, San Saba ISD.

Dr. Bruce is married to Sharol, they have a daughter and two grandchildren living in Virginia Beach, VA.
