Dear Goodwater Families,
I hope this note finds you and your family well.
Yesterday was the first day of our moving-up ceremonies for third grade. Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents, and other family members who attended these special events. The students presented legacy letters for students coming into their communities next and advice for younger students who will be leaders next year. These ceremonies were all unique and it was awesome to be a part of the celebration.
We have the Spring Market on May 20th. Market days provide the opportunity for our Adolescent students to showcase their talents relating to products they make in class. The money they earn for these Market Days is put back into the Adolescent program. We appreciate your support.

STAAR Results
View this document for information on logging in to view your student’s STAAR results: STAAR Log-in Information
STAAR results for students in grades 3-8 will be available in the Parent Portal on June 14. You should have received a secure email on May 16th from Cambium Assessment that contains your child’s unique access code that is used to access STAAR results in the Parent Portal at www.texasassessment.gov. Send an email to roberta.givens@goodwatermontessori.org if you cannot locate the email or your child’s access code.
Important Returning Student News!
Hello! The returning student registration forms are now PAST DUE. I have emailed every family that has not completed their registration forms to notify you that your student’s spot is not secure for the 2024-2025 school year until I receive the packet. Library News
Please help us return library books before the summer break. Look for books with a “GOODWATER MONTESSORI LIBRARY” red or white barcode label. Return books to the front office if the book drop-off box is full.
Papers with checked-out books will be going home with students next week. We do not charge for overdue books.

Foam Party – May 23, 2024
Join us for an exciting end-of-year celebration on Thursday, May 23rd, hosted by the Goodwater PTO! We’re wrapping up the school year with a day filled with fun activities, including a bounce house, an inflatable slide, yard games, and a complimentary concession stand. The highlight of the day? A FOAM PARTY! Please remember to send your kids dressed in clothes that can easily dry and bring a towel.
